Giffords Halls St Edmunsbury Red
What do they say?
The ‘Red Ed’ has a generous nose and is packed with fruit flavours such as plum, rhubarb and cranberry. Great with game, pasta or a traditional roast.
What does the English Vine say?
Giffords Hall make two reds, one that incredibly tops 14.5% ABV (we don’t know how this is even possible in England). We preferred this younger brother to the 14.5% , the St Edmunsbury. It is such an enjoyable wine that we opened it as soon as it arrived on our doorstep. A lighter red which has good flavours and great value for £17. Guaranteed enjoyment with this one!
