Langham Blanc de Blancs
What do they say?
Partial barrel fermentation and 18 months lees ageing, plus six months on cork. This wine has aromas of honeysuckle, lemon drizzle cake, apple crumble, cut grass and shortbread. Classic autolytic flavours of brioche are supported with a delicate salinity. A balanced citrus acidity brings this well weighted wine together and elongates the finish.
What does the English Vine say?
Stunning, special, scrumptious, sexy, so much fun. Not sure why we started with s’s but we did. Seriously this wine is absolutely awesome (and now a’s). Everyone needs to try this. Sadly not too much of this vintage is left, fingers crossed the next one is just as good. Get it while you can.Â
